Little Brown Jug Singles Square Dance Club

Little Brown Jug Singles "Western" Square Dance Club is a fun club that offers both rounds and squares and is open to both singles and married couples. Our club, which started 25 years ago, still offers both plus and mainstream dancing. We dance September through May on the third and the fifth Fridays at Mingo Park in Delaware, Ohio.

We are the only square dance club in Delaware County but travel to all 10 clubs within our Central Ohio Council of Dance Clubs, as well as, those within a 1 1/2 hour driving range. We attend all Ohio and many national square dance conventions.

The club logo represents our great pride in the community's annual Little Brown Jug Horse Race. It is tradition to dance in both the Delaware County Horse Parade and Delaware County Fair. In our spare time we do demos for schools, nursing homes and a variety of other events.

Location: Little Brown Jug Singles currently dance in the Hilborn Room at Mingo Park Recreation Center, 500 E. Lincoln Ave., Delaware, Ohio 43015.

Time: Club dances are from 7:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. on the 3^rd and 5^th Fridays of each month, September through May. We have several specials during the year, including "April in Paris", the September "Jug Dance", our "Christmas Charity Dance", and a "Straw Hat Dance" on the 3rd Sunday in July.
